Can we let you into a secret?
You don’t have to sing karaoke if you book the VIP room at Karaoke Box Smithfield. In fact, you don’t even
have to pick up a microphone if you don’t want to. Why? Because the room has a Playstation 3 loaded with the highly addictive Rockband, where two people can play a guitar each and another
the drums. The room holds 15-20 people and we had a BAL during our recent visit. We’re not ashamed to admit that we spent the whole night playing Rockband, while fuelling our musical spirit
with some of the best pizza we've had in ages (plus some pretty strong cocktails). When you’re not 'with the band', comfy leather sofas provide a good vantage point and a rotating disco light adds
atmosphere. If you’re keen to stick with tradition, however, you can still flex your vocal cords by adding a singer to Rockband or ask the friendly staff to switch your game to
Singstar or classic karaoke.
