Malaysian fine-dining restaurant Awana, in Chelsea, is running its Street Food Festival from 12-25 April. Executive chef Mark Read and head chef Lee Chin Soon will be firing up their woks to create some specialty street-food dishes from around Malaysia. See below for the full menu. Starters (£7.50 each)
Deep fried spicy prawn fritter
Fish ball skewer with homemade peanut sauce
Crispy organic tofu filled with cucumber strips and bean sprouts served with a spicy tomato sauce
Barbecued beef strips in oyster sauce and palm sugar, mixed with salad leafs in sambal sauce

Mains (£15 each)
Skate wing curry simmered with tomato, okra and Asian herbs
Corn-fed chicken thigh curry with nyonya spices
Stir-fried green beans with mixed turnips
Mixed vegetables pickled in vinegar and dried chillies toasted with peanuts

Dessert (£6)
Steamed tapioca cake coated with desiccated coconut
Sweet coconut-filled pandan pancake served with coconut ice cream
Fruit jelly
