Rara Catering

Following the success of its two restaurants (one in South Kensington, the other in Ruislip), Rara has branched out into catering. The Indian/Nepalese kitchen can turn its hand it to private dining for 10 as readily as weddings for 200 or buffets for 500. The cuisine is traditional in style, focusing on fresh produce and subtle flavours rather than the big spice that is often associated with Asian cooking. Dishes from the Tandoor Grill are a particular speciality, such as lamb chops marinated in a yoghurt, ginger garlic infusion and salmon ajawani (salmon fillets, chargrilled and garnished with lemon and herbs). There plenty of enticing meat-free options too. Sharing platters and set menus work well for groups but the company can also create bespoke alternatives. Alongside its catering, Rara also provides professional and capable waiting staff and offers advice on event planning, including flowers, and table decorations.
