Pitch-view restaurants are what spring to mind when you think about rugby hospitality. The blueprint for nearly every other hospitality experience going, Twickenham has been offering hospitality longer than anyone else. With the best view in the house, Obolensky’s and Wakefield’s restaurants (the former named after a Russian prince who represented England) sell out quickly for the big games, so book well in advance if watching the game from the sanctity of a restaurant is your thing. Having seats right in front of the restaurant is a real boon, making dipping in and out of the action (and warmth) no trouble at all. See ‘Tried and Tested’ overleaf for more information.
