Each summer, Henley-on-Thames is brought to life with the Henley Royal Regatta. The Regatta, first held in 1839, is a unique rowing event offering 100 world-class races over five days & the chance to see Britain's Olympic stars, while enjoying a day of lavish hospitality & elegance on the banks of the Thames. The regatta is a great hospitality option, offering a haven of relaxation within easy striking distance of London.
Two primary venues are available for the Henley Regatta: Temple Island and Fawley Meadows. Situated by the start line, Temple Island is a private space & has a fantastic view of the length of the course. Albert Roux personally introduces his menu before lunch, which is accompanied by a selection of fine wines. A private space hosting only 40, Temple Island is ideally suited to exclusive hire for the day, making a presonal, relaxed hospitality experience.
If you prefer to mix with other parties, then Fawley Meadows is an appealing alternative, with a number of private areas dotted along the river bank. The hospitality village also offers a chill-out zone that is exclusive to Fawley Meadows guests. There's also a complimentary alfresco bar, live music & comfy seating on offer.
