Sheffield United FC - Hospitality

After years of underachievement by both United and their neighbours Sheffield Wednesday, the city is optimistic of a return of footballing success. The Blades, a nickname derived from the Sheffield's fame as a steel cutlery producer, were formed in 1889 and their first 36 years were there best. After winning four FA Cups and a league title, United failed to keep up that pace, but have won a loyal bunch of supporters - including actor Sean Bean - with their dogged, no-nonsense approach.
