Rosemary Shrager at Swinton Park Cookery School

The cookery school at Swinton Park is housed in the ground floor of the converted Georgian stables, which overlook the castle turret & parkland. Light & airy throughout, the stylish decor is comfortable – a relaxed environment well disposed to the appreciation of good food & fine wine! Rosemary Shrager, the celebrated TV chef, runs her programme of day & residential courses throughout the year. The demonstration kitchen has been designed to the highest specification & boasts offices, a shop, toilets & a preparation kitchen to the rear. The school has its own entrance & is a very short walk across the drive from the hotel. The four acre walled garden behind the hotel is planted with fruit, vegetables & herbs, providing a ready source of fresh ingredients for the hotel & school kitchens & cut flowers during the summer months.
