2013 marks 30 years of business for Chester Boyd and to celebrate its birthday the caterer has teamed up with cheese maker Wales & Surrey to create the Red Chester 1067. The 3kg wheel will accompany a bottle of wine, jar of chutney and a selection of biscuits as part of a one-off prize. Based in the City of London, Chester Boyd has a long history of catering to venues within the Square Mile, as well as high-profile events at the Royal Palaces. It is the sole caterer for a number of livery halls, including Butchers’ Hall, Coopers’ Hall and Haberdashers’ Hall. Menus are distinctly British, combining classic recipes with modern technique in dishes based on local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. Canapés, buffets, bowl food and formal plated meals are all available.
