If you’re looking for an excuse to get dressed up, express yourself and let your hair down on Valentine’s night, make sure you get hold of tickets for the London Masquerade Ball on Saturday 14 February. A grand, Georgian mansion will be transformed and guests can expect to be greeted by stilt-walkers and fire-jugglers, serenaded by the award-winning classical musicians Trio Nelic, astonished by the internationally acclaimed contortionist Tatiana Timachev from Romania, dance the night away to the sounds spun by DJs Mr Mulatto and Ben Vacara, tuck into delicious canapés and knock back plenty of bubbly. Official sponsors Piper-Heidsieck Champagne and Marques des Cacares Reserva 95, will keep the corks popping into the night.
The Masquerade Ball is proud to support the Intermediate Technological Development Group (ITDG) and £9.50 from each ticket sold will be donated to its smoke project, which aims to put an end to smoke-related deaths in developing countries. The tickets are all-inclusive and cost £80 for one and £150 for two persons. Discounted costumes and masks hire has been arranged from selected outlets. To find out more, visit the website above.
