The Masters Tennis Tournament
In December 2003 it was announced that The Honda Challenge would be upgraded to The Masters Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall to become the finale of the Delta Tour of Champions. Players will earn ranking points at tournaments on ‘The Road to London’ with the top ten qualifying automatically. Two wildcards will make up the field of twelve, which will then fight it out for a winner-takes-all prize of $100,000. The ‘Road to London’ includes tournaments in Rome, The Algarve, Graz, Eindhoven, Monte Carlo, Munich and Paris. Previous players include John McEnroe, Pat Cash, Boris Becker, Guy Forget, Ilie Nastase, Henri Leconte and Mats Wilander. With an extra day’s play on the Tuesday and extensive live coverage on the BBC, The Masters Tennis will be watched by over 30,000 public spectators, 4,000 corporate guests and millions of TV viewers worldwide to reinforce its position as the flagship event on the Tour. Truly outstanding hospitality is on offer 30 November to 5 December in the Champions Club from £299 to £409 + VAT per person.
