Feel like you’re at a picnic in the park when you attend the annual summer wine tasting jointly held by Clifton Nurseries and The Winery (of Clifton Road) on 13 August. They have searched for and will bring interesting varieties of wine and Champagne from around the globe for guests to sample around the fragrant plant nursery, the greenhouse and the sunken garden. Among other organic delicacies, organic breads and cheeses will be served to make it feel like a real picnic. Tickets are £15 for general admission or £10 for Friends of Clifton Nurseries.
