French restaurant Almeida has created a unique way of grabbing its diners' attention: by concocting an ‘edible menu'. Head chef Alan Jones has devised an ambitious seven-course menu where each course is dedicated to an initial of the Almeida’s name and each ingredient is presented in three different ways. This quirky approach ensures that guests really can proclaim the restaurant ‘good enough to eat.’
The seven-course feast (outlined below) will cost £55 per person.
Asparagus, white, green & chilled veloute
Langoustine, poached tails, claw beignets and vinaigrette
Mullet, grilled, brandade and bouillabaisse
Epices au tour de Canard, tartar, breast, and confit foie gras
Iced Champagne, granita, sorbet and jelly
Devonshire blue, sable, fondant
Almond tart, ice cream and foam

*Note: This menu is available every Tuesday and Wednesday evening. You must specify the edible menu when booking.
