Square Meal's Annual Around the World Tasting

Now in its fifth year, the Around the World Wine Tasting (Wednesday 19 November 6-9.30pm) is firmly established as one of the City’s social events of the autumn, giving you the chance to try up to 250 wines plus selected spirits and beers in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere. This fun, informal event is the perfect evening for anyone with an interest in wines and spirits and a great way to entertain clients or simply have a fun night out with friends.

There are famous names on offer from all over the wine world, in just about every style imaginable, from luscious golden dessert wines – both ice wine and Sauternes – to nutty amontillado sherry; from Champagnes such as Taittinger Comtes de Champagne, Louis Roederer Premier Brut and Pol Roger to a diverse range of ports from Taylor’s; classic names including Meursault and Marchesi Antinori to new arrivals from South Africa, Australia and the Languedoc. And friendly advice from top sommeliers, Hamish Anderson and Dawn Davies, will be on hand throughout the evening.
