The Cookery School at Little Portland Street has linked up with some of London's leading chefs to host Cooking for Kids, an around-the-clock 'celebrity chef' cooking marathon to raise funds for BBC Children in Need - a very tasty way of raising money for this excellent cause! The 'cook-in' will start at 7am on Friday 21 November and end at 7am on Saturday 22 November with celebrity chefs cooking in shifts throughout the twenty-four hour period. There is a dream line-up of chefs, with an increasing number offering to come on board: Steven Black of Berkeley Square, Antonio Carluccio of Carluccio's Caffés, Sam Clarke of Moro, Gennaro Contaldo of Passione, Rose Gray and Ruth Rogers of the River Café, Fergus Henderson of the St John Restaurants, Giorgio Locatelli of Locanda Locatelli, Patrick Williams of The Green, Anthony Worral Thompson, and Paul Young, chocolatier and patissier, have already signed up. The 'cook-in' will be divided into 16 different sessions of one and a half hours, with tickets available for each session. There will be a raffle, nibbles & tastings throughout the day (and night).
