Since it launched just five years ago, the Lotus Food Company has built an enviable reputation in the catering business, growing steadily with more than 70 part-time staff. Set up by Jaimin Kotecha, with his wife Amandip & brother Situl, Lotus is best known for its tasty pan-Asian food & personalised service. As Jaimin explains: ‘We are passionate about food from Asia & the menus we began promoting happened to be pan-Asian. It was a successful formula so we continued down that route. Though, from time to time, we also provide European menus.’ Lotus’ delicious canapés include tasty chilli tuna tartare with baby asparagus & Peking duck & wild mushroom rice paper rolls – all beautifully presented & packed with well-balanced flavours.
