Galvin at Windows (bar) | Galvin at Windows Bar

I have an impression that Galvin at Windows Bar has been forgotten by many Londoners… Looking at its clientele, the majority seem to be visiting in London – don’t get me wrong, it’s not a typical sightseeing tourist’s crowd. It’s either regular visitors who make a trip to London every couple of months to shop / eat /do business , or people who are in London for special occasions...

    Franco Manca | Franco Manca

Franco Manca is, hands down, the best pizza place I have come across in London so far. It is 1) delicious, 2) very reasonably priced, 3) made of carefully chosen, fresh and mostly organic ingredients. What else does the pizza lover need… Their restaurants can be found in several locations around London. I have been to Brixton Village and Tottenham Court Road, and both places made super duper impression on me....

    Koba | Koba

Koba has been on a map of top Korean restaurants in London for a while. Too popular for too long? I thought it was totally running on its old reputation. How wrong was I…. The place is quite small. I was there on Tuesday evening and all the tables on the ground floor were taken. In the first room there is a bar, where you can sit and actually see how the dishes are prepared. Walking further into restaurant, there is a second room with just standard tables, with the barbeque station in the middle of each table...

    Le Relais de Venise L'Entrecote | L’Entrecôte

A couple of weeks ago I finally made it to L’Entrecôte in Marylebone. It was a well overdue visit… I have heard so much about this place but never had an occasion to dine there. And when it came to choosing a restaurant for the Diwali dinner, my Indian friends did not hesitate to pick a place that serves beef only! L’Entrecôte in Marylebone is in a style of a French brasserie – with huge mirrors, Venetian paintings on the walls, and wooden tables standing very close to each other. The style is rather casual (paper clothes make it much more casual than it really is) so no need to dress up. There is only waitresses ( no waiters!), who are dressed in cute black uniforms with white collars...

    Balthazar | Balthazar

Balthazar established its name in New York quite long time ago. Surprise, surprise…after the opening of its London branch, there were no available tables for weeks. Yep… Londoners love NY restaurants’ openings and it was no different this time. But I must say that this time the love was totally justified. Oh boy, their food is like heaven in the mouth!...

Honest Burgers Soho | Honest Burger

After reading lots of amazing reviews on Honest Burger, I did not think much when it came to picking up a place for lunch last Saturday. We went to its Soho branch. On the arrival, our contact details were taken and we were supposed to get a text message once the table was ready. It took approximately an hour, which was the exact time that we were told when signing in on the waiting list. How clever is that!!! Definitely the biggest factor that differentiate Honest Burger from other burger places in London...

Burger and Lobster Harvey Nichols | Burger & Lobster

It was not that long ago, when on my way back home on Fridays I used to stop by B&L Mayfair branch to put my name on the waiting list. I had enough time to go back home, change and have a pre drink before the table was ready… No surprise that within 2 years B&L created 5 other branches around London. As you might have already guessed, B&L, serves only two dishes – burger and lobster. Does not matter what you go for, the price is £20. Quite a good deal for the delicious lobster!...
