    L'Anima Café | L'Anima

The sister cafe to L'Anima on Snowden Street, London's award winning Italian restaurant by Francesco Mazzei, L'Anima Cafe offers rustic Southern Italian food in a more casual setting. As soon as we were seated, the bread trolley was brought to us, as we ogled at the selections before us...the best bread trolley selection that I have seen so far...

Having received a sweet surprise in my inbox just one day before, I made a last minute change of plans, and the next day, there I was, sat excitedly at the new Lima Floral in Covent Garden - the second restaurant after the first Lima from Virgilio Martinez opened in mid-2012.I really enjoyed my first visit back in February, so my taste buds were definitely looking forward to this.We were served some pisco sours whilst we perused the menu - one of my favourite cocktails, and typical of South American cuisine...

Heading East again, this time in search of Rotorino in Dalston. There are not many things that will convince me to travel East, but considering that it was the end of a work week for me, I thought, why not?Hopping off the bus onto unknown territory, I made my way down Kingsland Road. Not somewhere that I would normally feel comfortable venturing round on my own, I inconspicuously tried to locate the building numbers to make sure that I was heading in the right direction...

Big Easy Covent Garden | BIG EASY, COVENT GARDEN, LONDON

After another invigorating morning of dancing, I was really looking forward to getting my lobster fix at Big Easy in Covent Garden. The original Big Easy located on Kings Road was opened 22 years ago, inspired by the 19th century crab shacks and Bar.B.Q. of the American Gulf Coast. With its new second home in Covent Garden that opened in February, it has become more easily accessible to those yearning for more of London's American dining scene...

I've been wanting to try this place, even before it was awarded its first Michelin star - the first Peruvian restaurant to win a Michelin star. We arrived right on time and were warmly greeted by the GM Ludovic, where we were then shown downstairs to our cosy table by the corner...

The weather may have been wet and dreary, but there's always a reason to brave the wind and rain for a sneaky little brunch! This was my second visit at Kopapa for brunch - centrally located in Seven Dials and always buzzing with people...

Coming to the end of the Bank Holiday weekend, we checked out Coal Vaults - a new restaurant and bar, and the latest addition to the bustling Wardour Street.  The site, which was originally used to store coal in the 19th Century, has been restored to boast a 100 capacity basement venue consisting of an intimate bar and dining area, as well as five separate vaults for private dining...

Polpo Covent Garden | POLPO, COVENT GARDEN

I've previously been to the Soho branch, which I thoroughly enjoyed, so I had no doubt that the Covent Garden branch would be just as good - it was also conveniently located to St Paul's Church which was our next stop for Alice in Wonderland!...

  9. Casse-Croute, a small little French bistro recently opened by Herve Durochat, on Bermondsey Street. Ditching my ballet and jazz shoes on another beautiful Monday morning, I was eager to check out what this new place had to offer...

  10. The much anticipated wait for the arrival of London's first Shake Shack was finally over, opening its doors on the 5th of July at Covent Garden Piazza - just a day after Five Guys, a five minute walk away! The original Shake Shack was opened by Danny Meyer in New York in 2004, and almost a decade later, has now landed on good ol' British soil. It's been quite a while since I last had a burger - my last one was probably at Chuck's when I was in Canada in May...
