    If you thought that Viennese cuisine was being under-served in London then think again, as Chris Corbin and Jeremy King bring an element of early twentieth century Vienna to the streets of Marylebone in the launch of their newest venture Fischer’s. These two men are the brilliant minds behind Corbin & King Restaurants who have owned and managed some of London’s most revered and successful restaurants, such as The Wolseley and The Delauney. They have really honed their recipe for success and are transferring their knowledge into this current project, while also adding extra strings to their bow with the title of hoteliers as they open Beaumont in Mayfair.   4. oodCycle, a charity that provides meals for people in need from supermarket surplus, is hosting a charity Mardi Gras Gala Dinner to raise vital funds for their projects tackling food poverty in communities across the UK.     Polpetto | Polpetto Re-launch | Return of the Soho Dining Room

    Polpetto is set to re-open its doors after a small hiatus. After the original venue proved to small and the restaurant’s 23 seats were always oversubscribed. Polpetto occupied the first floor of the French House pub on Dean Street for two years with Florence Knight at the helm. During that time it attracted critical acclaim (“amazingly good… flawless… perfect” – The Telegraph) and gained a massive following of fans.   10. The iconic One Canada Square building in Canary Wharf will be receiving a new, modern European restaurant and cocktail bar, located in the stylish lobby, as of September 2013. The forthcoming venue will also be named One Canada Square, as a nod to the famous 800ft, 50-storey building which it will be based in.
