Franco Manca | Overrated Pizza at Franco Manca in Brixton

I decided to visit this Pizzeria in Brixton because a friend of mine said he had the best Pizza in London. Before visiting the place, I searched for reviews and I found many comments and articles talking about an “outstanding Neapolitan Pizza”. Franco Manca is in Brixton Village, a nice place with lots of tempting eateries. The pizzeria has long communal tables and it’s always jam-packed with people. The queue luckily moves fast, and you can get a seat in less than 30 minutes. The service is really efficient and this is a big plus...

Patty & Bun James Street | Patty & Bun Restaurant Review

I started to deduce that Patty & Bun was a special food place when I arrived to the venue. There was a queue outside formed by at least 50 people waiting to have a seat. My friends and I almost desisted but at the end we thought that the long wait could have been rewarded well. Really? How can an hamburger be so attractive?...

  3. I’ve read somewhere that Noodle Oodle was the first Chinese restaurant in London to serve freshly made hand-pulled noodles. I don’t know if it’s true or just an urban legend (part of a good marketing strategy), but I honestly think that they do the best fresh noodles in the City...

Faanoos II | Faanoos Restaurant in Chiswick, my Review

When I think at persian food, my imagination brings me directly inside the Faanoos Restaurant in Chiswick. Not sure if it’s because that is my most recent positive “persian experience” or if it’s because their food is the best persian I’ve had yet. The only thing I’m sure about is that I love this place. I’ve been here three times and each experience has left me extremely content...

L'Eto Caffe | Best brownie in London… so far

L’Eto Caffe is a nice cafe in Soho (they have other locations as well) and they do freshly made daily cakes and pastries. I’ve never been disappointed by their cakes, but the Brownie I had the other night was simply the best ever...

Baozi Inn | Baozi Inn, Northern Chinese Cuisine, London

This is a 2 star Michelin guide restaurant and as soon as you start to eat your first dish you understand why. The menu offers specialities from the north of China and I must admit I never heard of at least half of the dishes in the menu even if I’m a frequent Chinese food eater. You will find many types of noodles, dumplings, fish and meat skewers, rice dishes and more...

Honest Burgers Soho | Best Hamburgers in London? Honest Burgers

Looking for a really good Hamburger in London? Try Honest Burgers, in Soho. So far, it’s the best I’ve tried in the City. To eat in this little and gracious bistro you need to be patient. You will probably need to queue for an hour before sitting at your table...
