Sing Out Loud at Lucky Voice Brighton - What's New: UK Venues Sing Out Loud at Lucky Voice Brighton

Lucky Voice's third regional outpost has opened in Brighton (tel: 01273 715770), right in the heart of The Lanes. Singing takes place over three floors, in seven private karaoke rooms each hosting between eight and 15 singers. A cocktail bar on the lower ground floor is open to all and the venue is open to 2am each night.

SIV Venues Win Safety Awards - What's New: UK Venues SIV Venues Win Safety Awards

Two of the venues in the SIV (Sheffield International Venues) Conferencing and Events brand have been hailed as the safest in the country following a leisure industry assessment, receiving the top scores in the QLM's Leisuresafe certification scheme. Calcot Health and Leisure Ltd, owner of boutique hotel Calcot Manor has bought Barnsley House and The Village Pub, near Cirencester in Gloucestershire. The Grade II-listed hotel had entered administration in May, so it's good news that a fellow Cotswolds neighbour (with 16 miles between them) has taken over the 18-bedroom property, with conference facilities and a cinema.

QHotels’ Ashford International Hotel is now just 37 minutes from central London following the opening of the new South Eastern bullet train preview service, the UK's first ever high-speed train. The service will run between Ashford International, Ebbsfleet International and St Pancras International and will become fully operational on 13 December. The preview service currently runs three morning peak services from Ashford International to St Pancras International and three peak services in the evening.
