Early preparation for Hallowe'en at Warwick Castle
, where a Ghosts & Ghouls - Alive! package has just been launched and runs until the end of November. 50-80 guests can meet the castle's most famous ghost, Sir Fulke Greville; explore the Dungeon in the dark; and discover the Castle's old hag, followed by a hearty candelit supper.
Get your gladrags on for the Aerospace Museum Society's 1940’s Hangar Dance at the Royal Air Force Museum
(tel: 01902 376 208) in Cosford on 4 October. The fun event will be located in the Museum’s Warplanes Hangar, with guests encouraged to 'Get in the Mood' by donning wartime costume for the evening and dance to Big Band music. It's a great place to hold private events, with a backdrop of wartime aircraft and artifacts, including the world’s oldest Spitfire and the famous Lincoln Bomber.
