Theatre spends £200k on new Boardroom - What's New: London Venues Theatre spends £200k on new Boardroom

Tottenham Court Road’s Dominion Theatre has just unveiled its new Boardroom space, fresh from a £200k refurbishment. The room hosts 28 delegates with a break-out area and has power points at every seat, with Wi-Fi, projector and Sonos wireless music system. The theatre takes its conferencing credentials seriously, with seven other spaces available for myriad size events. DDRs start from £59.95 in the new Boardroom, which includes lunch, selected from a range of menus.

Imbibe Live is huge success - What's New: London Venues Imbibe Live is huge success

We’re pleased as punch to report that our sister publication, on-trade drinks bible Imbibe, has just posted rip-roaring figures for its second ever exhibition, Imbibe Live. Held at Earl’s Court 2, visitor numbers were up 64% on last year, with buyers and exhibitors alike lavishing praise on the layout and calibre of attendees. Over 1,500 drinks brands were on site, including the biggest names in the business. The show returns next year on 3 and 4 July.

London’s Met Bar has put its interiors up for sale in an eBay charity auction, this morning. In preparation for a total refurbishment, the legendary watering hole is selling off furniture including private booths that Kate Moss & Johnny Depp huddled in, DJ decks Kings of Leon mixed on & stools Liam Gallagher perched on. The starting price for the entire collection is £5000, with all the proceeds being donated to Teens Unite Fighting Cancer. The venue will be closed from 31 July until September while the renovations take place.
