25 Mile Menu Launches at NewburyBook a hospitality package in the Hennessy Restaurant at Newbury Racecourse before the end of July and you’ll get the chance to try the new 25 Mile Menu. The clue’s in the name: the seasonal menu supports local produce sourced within 25 miles of Newbury, including buffalo mozzarella from Hampshire’s Laverstoke Park and asparagus from Cobb’s Farm in Hungerford.
Peter Pan, Kensington GardensThe stage production of Peter Pan (tel: 020 7514 5854) has opened at a specially commissioned (and rainproof) Theatre Pavilion in Kensington Gardens. Running until 20 September, two hospitality packages from The Rouge Partnership, in conjunction with The Recipe, are available. Choose between a BBQ on the terrace or a private dining gazebo, from £175 +VAT pp. The pavilion is also available for hire as a private event space, seating over 1,000.

Book for Goodwood Festival of SpeedThe Goodwood Festival of Speed from 3-5 July, is held over three days in the Earl of March’s glorious West Sussex backyard. Play Golf With The Ashes PlayersEngland and Australia will be locking horns again this year to compete for the Ashes, but between the second and third Tests on 21 July, sticks and balls of another kind will be order of the day. Stoke Park Club is hosting an Ashes Fourball golf day, where Shane Warne, Andrew Strauss, Ricky Ponting and the other players will join hospitality guests to play a round. Hosted by Sir Michael Parkinson, three guests per team have the opportunity to play with an Ashes squad member, before joining the players for a charity auction and dinner in the evening. 2009 Veuve Clicquot Gold CupOne of the most prestigious polo tournaments in the world, the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup runs from 23 June to 19 July at Cowdray Park in West Sussex.
