European Events has won the contract to host summer parties at the Tower of London from June to July 2009. Centred around the historic moat, their marquee will hold 800 seated or 1,200 for a reception.

Mask Bought by Concerto - What's New: Hospitality Mask Bought by Concerto

News just in: the creative event organising firm Mask has been bought by The Concerto Group for an undisclosed sum. The deal secures all Mask's 2008 Christmas events at the popular Truman Brewery, and the company's flamboyant managing director, Arthur Somerset, has been retained as a consultant. Somerset was president of the UK branch of ISES (The International Special Events Society) from 2002 to 2004 and was instrumental in the government's decision to raise staff entertainment tax allowance from £75 per employee to £150. The purchase can only serve to strengthen Concerto's reputation as leaders in corporate entertainment, complementing existing divisions including Ultimate Experience and EventWise, the latter purchased last year.
