Nestled in between Soho and Leicester Square in Chinatown, Wan Chai Corner Chinese Restaurant is a bit of an institution with London’s dim sum connoisseurs. With its red and white exterior and dining room filled with sunny lemon tablecloths, this cheap and cheerful Chinese is perfect for pre-theatre meals, post-shopping snacks and group get-togethers and the kitchen serves dim sum from 11am to 5pm when it switches over to its regular traditional menu. Highlights from the Wan Chai menu include classics such as the crab meat and sweet corn soup, the stir-fried spicy mince pork with French beans and the sizzling fillet steak with green peppers in a chilli black bean sauce.
