Everyone loves a cheese toastie, or at least, that’s what the owners of this new Soho joint are hoping. Happily, there’s more to these toasties than just an extra slice of tomato: a breakfast version comes with scrambled eggs, smoky bacon, HP sauce, and Keens cheddar on sourdough which should set you up for the day, and if going back at lunchtime, pulled pork shoulder with Pommery mustard, Sharp cheddar and apple chutney is just the thing, if a bit meagerly filled considering the price. Those wanting a carb-free moment can steer towards a short selection of American style salads, but honestly, they’d be better off lunching elsewhere. With only 12 seats inside, the main business is takeaway, but since sandwiches are the ultimate takeaway food, that’s entirely appropriate.
