We booked the restaurant reading the good reviews. When we went to the restaurant, there were many empty tables but the manager made us wait 20 minutes saying he couldn't find our reservation even after showing the confirmation email of our booking through SquareMeal. I didn't see the point in making the reservation. Manager claimed he could not find our reservation. After a lot of fuss, he gave us a table .
But that was the least of the worries, I checked the menu for vegetarian options. They did have loads of options. But "Surprise, Surprise", there was OYSTER SAUCE in so many of the vegetarian dishes. When I queried this with the waiter, he said " I will tell the chef that you are a strict vegetarian and not to add Oyster sauce to what you order". I am wondering how no one's ever noticed this. To be on the safe side, I ordered the ones without oyster sauce. So I ordered the Mun Tod ( Bland Potato Croquettes with no Thai Spices and a side of readymade Thai sauce).
I could go on and on but to sum it up mediocre food which was takeaway quality, restaurant price with the thought in the back of head if the food is going to taste fishy. My local takeaway does much better food.
