Designed by the Adam brothers and dating from 1775, 28 Portland Place is a particularly fine surviving example of neoclassical townhouse architecture. Splendid formal rooms have been
sympathetically restored to maintain the character and tradition of the house, offering elegant backdrops for events. Ornamental mirrors, chandeliers and magnificent fireplaces adorn each of the
five function rooms, which can be used individually or collectively for meetings, conferences and dinners for up to 104 sit-down guests or 150 at a drinks reception. The secluded garden provides a
tranquil setting for summer drinks receptions. Ampersand is sole caterer for the venue.
